How does the aircraft fly? before ask this question we have to know about forces acting on aircraft.There are mainly four forces acting on aircraft during flight. The primary control surfaces like Ailerons, Elevators and Rudder play leading role in flying the aircraft. The mainly four force acting on aircraft is as follow.. Thrust Thrust is a reaction force described quantitatively by Newton's second and third laws. When a system expels or accelerates mass in one direction the accelerated mass will cause a proportional but opposite force on the system. This force pulls the aircraft in forward direction. This force is produced by engine or propeller. Lift Lift is the component which acts perpendicular to the air flow and it helps the aircraft to sustain/float in air. Wings Wings are used for flight by an aircraft to create lift in air. The wings are made with aerofoil cross section. That aerofoil generates a lift when we move it through air.There are two integral parts of wing which are AILERON and  FLAPS. here i just drop some of the routine  maintenance task by AMT (Aviation Maintenance Technician)... cleaning aircraft and components application of corrosion prevention compound lubricating parts draining and trouble shooting fuel systems checking and servicing hydraulics and pneumatic systems replacing components inspecting for general wear and tear  and one more new filed of aircraft maintenance is working on avionics, which deals with electronic system of aircraft. A maintenance technician for this filed are deals with parts like navigation and communication include radar, instruments, computer systems, radio communication and GPS(Global position systems). All aircrafts are required to be maintained after a certain period of flight hour or flight cycle or time period. Because proper aircraft maintenance is essential for keeping aircraft and aircraft parts in optimal condition, and ensuring the safety of pilots, crew members and passengers..

The Aircraft can be classified mainly in two type which is AEROSTAT and AERODYNE . AEROSTAT it's a lighter than air object that can stay stationary in the air. Aerostat include free balloons, airships and helikites. An aerostat's main structural component is its envelope, a lightweight skin containing a lifting gas to provide bouyancy, to which other components are attached. These aircrafts are not used except balloons. AERODYNE  it's a heavier than air aircraft, deriving lift from dynamic motion through the air. All the commercial as well as military aircraft fall under this category. These aircraft are used widely.    

Egypt Plane Crash... According to press report, Six Solders were killed and one was wounded Sunday when a military cargo plane crashed near an airport in Egypt, a media report said. The reconnaissance aircraft crashed near the military airport in Fayyoum province, 85 km south of Egyptian capital Cairo, Xinhua quoted state-run Ahram newspaper as saying on its website. The plane was heading to the airport but crashed a few kilometres before landing due to a technical failure, the report said.

Unmanned Aircraft.. The MQ-4C Triton Unmanned Aircraft System (UAS) arrived at Naval Air Station Patuxent River Sept. 18 after completing its inaugural cross-country ferry flight, bringing the Navy closer to delivering this new capability to the fleet. This flight marked the transition from initial flight test, which established basic safety of flight, to testing that will demonstrate Triton's capability to perform operational missions in the maritime domain. "Today we brought Triton home to the center of research, development, test and evaluation for naval aviation," said Rear Adm. Mat Winter, who oversees the Program Executive Office for Unmanned Aviation and Strike Weapons (PEO (U&W)) at NAVAIR. "The testing performed here over the next few years is critical to delivering a capability that will provide our warfighter an unparalleled awareness of the maritime environment in locations across the globe." Aeronautics is the science dealing with the study, design, and manufacture of aircraft... BIRDS FLY, WHY CAN'T WE...???   That was probably the first question asked by cave dwellers watching a bird swoop through the air. Perhaps even then, people understand the advantage of human flight. The desire to defy gravity and experience the freedom of flight compelled early attempts to unravel the mysterious technique the birds had mastered proficiently......but the BAD thing is that, it's very costly field..and interested students like us can't afford that much amount..and the GOOD thing we are happy to make a small scale model aircraft as in aeromodelling and having great fun for it.....

Hiiii.......very very good morning to all of you...this is Ujjaval Modi. i am a Mechanical Engineer....here i inform you that i have made this blog for sharing some gossip with you related to the AIRCRAFT. it's all about Aircraft, Machine Bird, you know....it's very interesting field for all age group. when we were small kid,we all had made a aircraft from paper material and see how long it gone...good thing is that we know paper made aircraft can't fly more 2-3 min even though every time we had made more plane and every time it is special for us...because aircraft is our passion...and i hope we all enjoy this aircraft journey and make some common friends who interested in Aviation as i.
